The 5k race starts and finishes at The Rocky Mount Mills taking runners on a scenic and historic tour of Rocky Mount.  Runners will begin on Falls Road running beside the falls over the dam.  Next they enter the scenic greenway running beside the Tar River for a mile before exiting at Sunset Park. 

Here runners will pass by the tennis complex, boat ramp, City Lake, and the historic carousel before returning on River Drive. For the final stretch runners enter the Rocky Mount Mills Village before a turn on Elm Street where they sprint to the finish back at the Rocky Mount Mills where they will celebrate with cold beer, food trucks, and live music from pop star Sicily!

Safety Requirements:

• Minimum age to participate is six (6)

• Participants under 10 must be accompanied by an adult

• No dogs allowed in the race

• No double strollers

• No alcohol consumption prior to the race
